Sterling & Guilloche Enamel Calling Card Case by Thomae Picture(s) and Description:
Exquisite Vibrant Gulloche Enameling on Sterling Silver (front & back) Calling Card - Cigarette Case by The Thomae Co. dates to the 1920s/1930s 3" x 2" x 1/2" weighs almost 4 oz. The gilt interior is highlighted with circular machine polishing & mounted with spring-loaded clasps Marked on the interior with an engraved "JAA" monogram. The maker's marks are found on the top of the interior edge & includes, "Sterling, Hallmarks for the Thomae Co of Attleboro, Massachusetts, 3675" This piece is complete & is in excellent vintage condition with a working closure. Some light surface scratches to the enameling but nothing abnormal or excess Exceptional Collectable Piece
