It is decorated with a golf ball, dimple effect decoration which covers the whole of the body except for a blank oval cartouche to the front. The flask also comes with a detachable cup, beautifully gilded to the interior. There are a set of hallmarks to the main body of the flask with a duplicate set to the cup. They are clear and readable and show that this beautiful flask was made in Birmingham in 1900 by the prestigious silversmiths, Hilliard and Thomason in their Spencer Street workshop. Another quality item from Patsykingo! Condition This beautiful Victorian silver hip flask is in near mint condition with no damage or repairs and looks as good as the day it was manufactured. It could hardly have been used. There is the usual surface scratching due to 110 years of use and cleaning but this is to be expected for a piece of this age.
