Offered for your bid is a simply gorgeous sterling silver hip flask with elaborate engraved decoration .... One of the nicest flasks I have seen! ... Deep engraving adorns the front with hammered curved back for fitting nicely on one's hip .... Double cap ... measures 6" x 3.75" x 1"..... There are 2 dents on the bottom back corner and I am told they can easily be hammered out and a small ding on the top of the lid. Quite weighty .... stamped SILVER, on the bottom .... There are three American companies which use this mark for their sterling , even though the US Trade commission allows the US mark of" SILVER" to be 92.5.... they are ; Bond Boyd, Beauster , and Amita Silver .... However, this piece seems European to me ... Exquisite , nonetheless ..... I prefer pay pal within 3 days of auction end ... thank you !
